Stunning classical/entertainment model with advanced 'NWX' key action and upgraded speaker system, the Clavinova CSP170 adopts the latest technologies for complete interaction with your i-Pad. This stunning Clavinova sits between the established 'CLP' and 'CVP' models and provides the best of both worlds with many additional elements!

Available in black walnut or satin white, this is more than a digital piano, as the CSP170 houses a powerhouse of 692 sounds including Yamaha's acclaimed CFX and Bosendorfer Imperial grand piano samples, through to synths, orchestral and drum sounds. Add to this a library of left hand style backings (accompaniments), effects, i-Pad connection, USB audio recorder and 'streaming lights' to help guide the novice player (these can be switched on and off).

With stunning looks, the CSP170 has a highly advanced 'NWX' wood key action (white keys only) for an incredibly authentic feel and level of control, and with audio outputs (left and right), this beauty is ideal as a standalone piano in the home, classroom, or school assembly hall.

Those who wish to experiment with sounds, rhythms and programming won't be disappointed, as the CSP170 affords the player a multitude of user programmable features (including handy 'registration' memories), and USB is standard issue for connecting to a PC. Connect your i-Pad for a world of  expandability options, with song downloads and an 'Audio to score' analysing feature to produce a music score from iTunes library!

For the vocalist too, a microphone input is available, routed through a professional sounding harmoniser (44 programs onboard), and your vocals and performance can be digitally recorded as a wav file and saved to a USB memorystick.

The CSP170 is first and foremost a stunning sounding piano however, with technological enhancements to produce the incredibly authentic classical piano tones. This is helped by a range of advanced technologies (Virtual Resonance Modelling (VRM) on piano sounds, binaural sampling on Yamaha CFX concert grand , 'key-off' samples, smooth release, string and damper resonance). Your performance is routed via the onboard and upgraded 45w stereo speakers, whilst further amplification can also be connected if performing in large venues.
